Professional Information
Ms. Bethany Walker earned a Master of Science, Communication Sciences & Disorders, with a Bilingual Extension from the College of Saint Rose, Albany, NY. Ms. Walker has served as a clinician for over 15 years and in a variety of settings with clinical experience in acute care, school-based and early intervention settings. She has additional experience in administration, outpatient clinics and inpatient rehabilitation. Bethany is a Spanish-speaking bilingual Service Provider and completed a semester abroad in Spain to study Spanish syntax. Bethany is active in the SLP community and continues to contribute to develop her diverse portfolio. “Caring Service” is the focus of her professional outlook. She continues to serve her profession and community through mentorship and membership. Bethany is the current Vice President of Membership with FLASHA. An area of focus of her career has been educating and training members of the community as well as continue her own learning about multicultural issues, English language learners and how to best serve these populations.
